There are three speed regulation methods for DC geared motors: 1. Weak magnetic speed regulation above the base speed 2. Reduce the armature voltage speed regulation below the base speed 3. Armature circuit string resistance speed regulation Characteristics of the above three speed regulation methods: 1. Weak magnetic field speed regulation, general DC motor, in order to avoid oversaturation of the magnetic circuit, only weak magnetism can not be strong magnetic. The armature voltage is kept at the rated value, the armature circuit series resistance is reduced to a minimum, the excitation loop resistance Rf is increased, the excitation current and magnetic flux are reduced, the motor speed is increased immediately, and the mechanical characteristics become softer. 2. Reduce the armature voltage speed regulation, the armature circuit must have a DC power supply with adjustable voltage, the resistance of the armature circuit and the excitation circuit is as small as possible, the voltage reduction speed is reduced, the artificial characteristic hardness is unchanged, the operating speed is stable, and the speed can be stepless. 3. The armature loop string resistance regulates the speed, and the artificial characteristic is a family over n. The greater the string resistance, the softer the mechanical characteristics and the more unstable the rotational speed, and the larger the string resistance at low speed, the more energy is lost, and the efficiency becomes lower. The speed regulation range is affected by the load size, with a wide range of speed regulation for large loads and a small range for light loads.
