How to judge the quality of DC geared motors
DC geared motor, that is, gear geared motor, is based on ordinary DC motor, plus supporting gear reducer. The function of the gear reducer is to provide a lower speed and a larger torque. At the same time, the different reduction ratios of the gearbox can provide different speeds and torques. This has greatly increased the use of DC motors in the automation industry. Geared motor refers to the integration of reducer and motor (motor). This type of integration is also commonly referred to as a gear motor or gear motor. It is usually integrated and assembled by a professional reducer manufacturer and supplied in complete sets. Geared motors are widely used in the steel industry, machinery industry, etc. The advantages of using geared motors are that they simplify the design and save space.
1. Connect the positive and negative electrodes, and there will be great resistance when you twist it by hand, indicating that the circuit is normal. Otherwise, there is a circuit break point inside;
2. Rotate the motor by hand, if you feel a significantly larger resistance, it is clear that there is a short circuit point inside the motor. (transition smoothly to normal);
3. Investigate the reversing spark when the power is transformed, no spark is the best, there are sparks that are outstanding, the sparks are connected into a line is poor, and the appearance of ring fire cannot be used; (The number of life expectancy will be drastically shortened)
4. When the DC high-power motor runs to the temperature rise is stable and punctual, the resistance of the winding is measured with a multimeter when the machine is stopped. Usually a few tenths to a few ohms;
5. After running until the temperature rise is stable, the surface temperature of the motor should not exceed 80 degrees Celsius. If this value is exceeded, it is clear that the temperature rise of the motor is not up to par;
6. Add additional voltage, measure the speed, and the error between the speed and the indicated speed should not exceed 10;
7. Add 1.2 times the additional voltage, run for 2 minutes, and investigate whether there is any abnormality;
8. The DC high-power motor uses a multimeter to measure the inter-chip voltage between the commutators, if there is no inter-chip voltage between the two pieces has the same rule, it is clear that the winding is normal.
